A Deep Dive into Culture: Hanoi & the Craft Villages

The tour package begins in the heart of the nation, Hanoi. You will be immersed in a thousand years of history, visiting the solemn Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the poignant Hoa Lo Prison. But our cultural exploration goes deeper. We leave the city behind to visit the sources of Vietnamese tradition in the surrounding craft villages.

Here, you will engage directly with local artisans. Learn the delicate art of lacquerware, try your hand at making the iconic conical hat, and share a home-cooked meal with a local family. The highlight is a visit to the Quang Phu Cau “incense village,” where you’ll walk through a sea of vibrant, fragrant incense bundles—a photographer’s dream and a truly unique part of our ultimate North Vietnam tour package.

Legendary Landscapes: The Majesty of Ninh Binh & Halong Bay

Prepare for two days dedicated to Vietnam’s most awe-inspiring natural landscapes. First, we travel to Ninh Binh, a place so beautiful it’s called “Ha Long Bay on Land.” You will cycle to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu before boarding a traditional sampan boat for a trip through the Trang An UNESCO World Heritage site. To top it off, you’ll climb the 500 steps to the top of Mua Cave for a jaw-dropping panoramic view.

The next day is dedicated to the world-renowned Halong Bay. On our comfortable day cruise, you’ll witness the thousands of islets that make this bay legendary. The itinerary includes exploring the magnificent Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, kayaking or taking a bamboo boat through the serene Luon Cave, and swimming at Titop Island. This day on the bay is an essential part of any ultimate North Vietnam tour package.

To the Roof of Indochina: Sapa’s Mountains & Culture

From the sea, we journey to the sky. A scenic bus ride takes us to the misty mountain town of Sapa, home to diverse ethnic minority groups. Your cultural connection deepens with a trek to Cat Cat Village, a Black H’mong community nestled in a stunning valley. Here you will learn about their unique customs, see their traditional homes, and witness the power of the Cat Cat Waterfall.

The absolute pinnacle of the trip is the ascent to Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina.” A breathtaking cable car ride will carry you over the spectacular Muong Hoa Valley up to the 3,143-meter peak. The feeling of standing above the clouds is a truly unforgettable moment that defines this ultimate North Vietnam tour package.
